Meet Dan Gengel, a Bellevue native with a passion for cars and a talent for automotive repair. Born and raised in Bellevue, Nebraska, Dan has spent his entire life in the area. He’s a dedicated husband to his wife, Tiffanie, and a proud father of two sons, Carter and Colt.
Dan’s love for cars started at a young age, and it all began with his father, who was an avid mechanic and passed his passion onto his son. Dan found his inspiration from his dad and started working on cars himself, leading him to pursue a career in the automotive industry.
Dan attended Metropolitan Community College and graduated with an Associates in Applied Science in Automotive Repair. He began his career in 2013, starting at a Chevy dealership, where he learned the ins and outs of the trade. In 2015, Dan joined a Subaru dealership, where he spent five years honing his skills and completing all Subaru factory training.
Dan’s dedication to his craft has led him to achieve several notable certifications, including being an ASE Master Certified Automotive Technician and an ASE Advanced Level Specialist in Engine Performance.
When he’s not under the hood of a car, Dan loves spending time outdoors. He enjoys camping, fishing, and spending quality time with his wife and two sons. With his years of experience and expertise in automotive repair, Dan Gengel is the go-to technician for all your vehicle needs.
At Gengel Auto Repair, we take pride in providing high-quality auto repair services to our customers. We currently specialize in working on all gasoline vehicles except for German vehicles such as Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Land Rover, and Volvo. However, our goal is to specialize in Subaru repair soon, and we are actively working to acquire the customer base to do so.
We are proud to be BBB accredited, which reflects our commitment to maintaining high standards of excellence in our services. Additionally, we offer digital multi-point vehicle inspections with photos of vehicle issues sent to the customer at the time of service. We stand behind our work and offer a 12-month, 12,000-mile warranty on all repairs. Our team is ASE Master Certified, and we have completed all Subaru factory training.
